Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Madison has selected the Reverend Dr. Leonard Thompson Sr. to serve as the Interim Pastor. Reverend Dr. Thompson’s first Sunday as Interim will be February 15, 2015. Rev. Dr. Thompson is an ordained minister of the American Baptist Churches, USA, whose study of God’s word began early with his academic career. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Bible/Social Work from the Philadelphia College of the Bible. He has also earned the Bachelor of Divinity degree in Theology from Reformed Episcopal Seminary, the Master of Divinity degree in Parish Ministry from Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary, The Master of Sacred Theology degree in Practical Theology from Lutheran Theological Seminary and the Doctor of Ministry degree in Parish Ministry from Lancaster Theological Seminary. He recently completed a successful sixteen-month ministry as the interim Senior Pastor of the Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Please join us in welcoming Rev.
