If you enjoy working with your hands and physically demanding work, making visible progress every day, being outside, finding a rhythm in your work or solving new and interesting problems, then carpentry is a fantastic career avenue.
Consider the Madison College’s Construction & Remodeling Program!
During our nine month program, you will learn how to build a home from the ground up, about
newer more energy conscious building techniques, how remodeling differs from new construction and what skills are needed to run a construction company safely and profitably. It is a rigorous, densely packed education in carpentry and many of its associated skills.
If you are interested in this program we strongly encourage you to attend the August 10th Madison College Orientation. At this orientation you will learn about program expectations, the courses you should register for, tools and other materials you are required to provide, and scholarship opportunities. Furthermore, a member of the Construction & Remodeling faculty will be on hand to answer your questions and help you get registered for the right classes.
Madison College 2016/17 fall semester starts Aug 29 so now is the time to consider registering
for classes!
