“Madison’s Growing Latino Immigrant Community” – Sustainable Saturday Night Series
James Reeb Unitarian Universalist Church, 6 p.m. Potluck dinner, 7 p.m.
Panel Discussion and Q&A
Panelists from Madison’s Latino community will give updates on the most important issues in the Immigrant Rights Movement today and offer insight into the ways these issues affect residents in Dane County and ways that you can support local immigrant families.

KinfolK Productions – The Spring Bash 2015
The Heights Event Center, 8 p.m. – 1 a.m.

Everyone’s favorite retro dance party is back on the scene! Madison DJs Nick Nice and Mike Carlson will be busting out classic 80s and 90s music videos. Dress in the style of your favorite decade, get in the groove, and be there at midnight to cast your vote. $5 cover.

Isthmus Food Cart Fest
Olin Park, 2 – 6 p.m.
Now in its fourth year, this celebration of Madison’s expanding street-food scene will bring together some of the area’s favorite food carts as well as feature live music from Oshkosh folk/bluegrass band Dead Horses. Tickets are $25 and available online. Get your tickets early, as this Madison favorite consistently sells out every year.
 
MONDAY, JUNE 1
Dirty Bourbon River Show w/ David Hayes Project
The Frequency, doors at 7:30 p.m., show at 8:30 p.m.
Described as “entrance music for a magical mystery tour of whiskey-soaked French Quarter back alleys” (Rory Callais, OffBeat) and “Segueing seamlessly from kazoo- and clarinet-blown circus shenanigans to smooth-croon lounge, jazzy sax solos and staccato piano jams” (Noah Bonaparte Pais, Gambit Weekly), you won’t want to miss this. $10, $13 under 21, ID required for entry, 18.

Free Family Night
Madison Children’s Museum, 5 – 8 p.m.
The first Wednesday of each month is free through the museum’s Access for Everyone program. Don’t miss the opening reception of the new exhibit, Liberia at Play.
 
THURSDAY, JUNE 4
Concerts on the Rooftop
Monona Terrace, every Thursday or Friday of the summer, 7 – 9 p.m., bars open at 6 p.m.
The Rabid Aardvarks
Voted People’s Choice winner and nominated for Cover Band of the Year at the Wisconsin Area Music Industry Awards, The Rabid Aardvarks will get the rooftop concert season started right! Picnic baskets welcome, no carry-in alcohol. All ages, free.
 
SUNDAY, JUNE 7
Annual African American Student Recognition
Madison College, Truax Campus Auditorium, 1:30 p.m.
The Madison Metropolitan Chapter of The Links, Incorporated will present its annual African American Student Recognition Program. This year’s theme is “Empowering Students Through Education”. Recognition program for elementary students starts at 1:30 p.m., and for middle and high school students at 3:15 p.m.
