CMC Radiothon with La Movida set for Dec. 13

November 26, 2013

MADISON — On Dec. 13, the Catholic Multicultural Center (CMC) is teaming up with La Movida radio 1480AM to host its second annual radio fund-raising event for the Center.
The CMC strives to provide basic necessities as well as educational and spiritual opportunities to empower individuals to grow as a member of the community. We rely on support from individuals and businesses to keep our programs running and to expand our offerings. The Radiothon will help ensure the Center’s doors can remain open, with a focus on funding the food pantry and personal essentials pantry, the employment assistance program, and the computer lab.
La Movida will broadcast live from the CMC from noon-5 p.m. the day of the Radiothon, Friday Dec. 13. Donations will be accepted by phone (608-661-3512) or in person at the Center. A celebration will be hosted at the Center during the Radiothon with food, entertainment, and more. We welcome all donors and supporters to come to the Center to join us for the celebration!
In addition to donating, one can get involved by volunteering, sharing testimonial about the CMC during the Radiothon, or asking your business to become a sponsor. All sponsors will receive live recognition on La Movida Radio during the event, with additional benefits available to businesses for donations $250 and up. Donations of any amount are welcome and appreciated from both businesses and individuals.

For more information, contact us at the CMC: Antonio Quintanilla at antonio@cmctoday.org or 608-441-3249 ; Laura Green at volunteer@cmctoday.org or 608-441-1180 or Lilliam Post at  liam@cmctoday.org.
