Elementary Afterschool Teacher joins our team of 5 teachers working with 35 kids to learn about the world, have fun, and grow up strong and resilient. Teachers help with creating, running and evaluating a comprehensive after-school program and summer camp for kids in K – 5th grade. Program runs afterschool during school year and 9 – 2 pm for summer camp. 22 hours/week, $12.83 per hour. Positions available for summer (at 30 hrs/ week) and year-round starting immediately.
Youth Program Leads
Teen Build Up (high school) and Youth Resource Center (middle school) Program Lead positions (two positions) assist the Youth Program Manager and AmeriCorps members in crafting, running and evaluating comprehensive afterschool program and summer programs for kids. Leads orchestrate one-time and ongoing clubs such as genderspecific groups, leadership and community service, outdoor and recreation, academic and career building projects and art activities. Programs generally run 2:00 – 6:30 pm. 22 hours/ week, $12.83 per hour.
Youth Program AmeriCorps
Members Three positions serving middle/ high afterschool and summer camp programs. Provide literacy tutoring, academic support, organize youth community service and provide youth programming. Serve 35/40 hrs/ wk for a min. of 1700 hours, including regular evening and occasional Saturday hours. Stipend and education award for service.
