MSCR is 100th to partner with Community Engagement Platform GoStrive

January 22, 2014

By Nicole Graper

MADISON — Madison School & Community Recreation (MSCR) has recently joined GoStrive as their 100th Parks and Recreation partner. GoStrive, a Wisconsin-based startup company, provides mobile event and activity search to organizations like MSCR, around the nation.
MSCR selected GoStrive to bring better community awareness, participation and registration to its diverse portfolio of program offerings, from after school programs to more surprising activities like pottery classes and cheese-making courses. Community members can now use the GoStrive mobile app to discover interesting events by category, facility, or by what their friends are signed up for. They can also Invite friends and family to participate and share their events on Facebook and Twitter.
"We are excited to be part of this cutting-edge Wisconsin company connecting Madison citizens to a wide variety of recreation opportunities." said Lucy Chaffin, MSCR Executive Director.
“Marking this milestone with Madison School and Community Recreation is an honor to GoStrive, and a testament to the groundswell we’re creating within parks and recreation agencies not only in our own backyard, but in communities across the nation,” said James Jackson, President and COO of GoStrive.
