Michael Brown
Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) is pleased to recognize Big Brother Michael Brown as our Volunteer of the Month. Michael is a project leader for the State of Wisconsin and he has been matched with his Little Brother Jeremiah for 1.5 years.
Michael and Jeremiah have a lot in common and find it very easy to participate in outdoor activities, especially during the summer. Just after they were first Matched Michael and Jeremiah even volunteered at the BBBS Gala and had the opportunity to meet Nick and Al Toon.
Most recently they enjoyed a day hiking at Devil’s Lake and playing football in the park. Early in August they prepared Jeremiah for the school year with a new backpack and school supplies that Jeremiah earned by participating in “fun with a purpose” activities at the BBBS BIG Picnic and Backpack Event! Jeremiah was recently asked what his favorite thing about his Big Brother and he said, “He’s someone I can look up to”.
We congratulate Michael on being an outstanding Big Brother and thank him for the time he spends with Jeremiah!
