MADISON — Deirdre Hargrove-Krieghoff will join the Madison Schools team as Human Resources Executive Director this September, the district announced Aug. 26
“We are so thrilled that Deirdre is joining our team. She brings extensive experience, a wide ranging skill set and a deep knowledge of our community,” Superintendent Jennifer Cheatham said. “We know she will do an excellent job managing human resources and talent development in our district.”
A Madison native, Hargrove-Krieghoff currently serves as the Vice President of Workforce Development, Inclusion and Retention at the Urban League of Greater Madison. Hargrove-Krieghoff spent 15 years as a Department Director at St. Mary’s Hospital, where she managed facility operations, department human resources and leadership development and diversity and inclusion. In her work at St. Mary’s, Hargrove-Krieghoff was instrumental in developing and coaching employees. She has also excelled in creating system wide process improvements and has served as a Malcom Baldrige National Quality Award Examiner.

I would also like to thank the leadership and staff of Urban League of Greater Madison for the opportunity to serve with them in creating a better community, and I look forward to continuing the district’s partnership with ULGM through my new role.”

Hargrove-Krieghoff also co-chairs the Madison Area Diversity Roundtable, leading the group to successfully launching Spectrum II Magazine and the annual Diversity Symposium. She has an MBA from the University of Wisconsin Madison.
Hargrove-Krieghoff will start on September 15.
